What’s summer without a few crushes? Here’s Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima showing her beautiful curves in the latest Summer 2011 lingerie collection of Victoria’s Secret.
Hot push-ups. Hourglass curves. Attention-getting bikinis. What’s summer without a few crushes? Here’s Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima showing her beautiful curves in the latest Summer 2011 lingerie collection of Victoria’s Secret.
Victoria’s Secret also reveals the 2011 “What Is Sexy? List” naming the sexiest Bombshells in Hollywood this summer. To celebrate the 6th annual list, Victoria’s Secret Supermodels Miranda Kerr, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel and Erin Heatherton will host an exclusive VIP party on May 11 at the new Hollywood spot, The Beverly.
This summer, the VS brand will take to the road and embark on “The Bombshell Summer Tour” going to several major US cities and Canada. The Angels will greet fans and give tips on how to get the perfect Bombshell Summer look with the season’s sexiest bras, bikinis and beauty products from Victoria’s Secret.
The release of the “What Is Sexy? List” kicks off the tour, which begins in Los Angeles at The Grove with photo opportunities for Fans on May 11 from 12 – 2 pm with Adriana Lima & Candice Swanepoel and later with Alessandra Ambrosio & Erin Heatherton from 4 – 6 pm.
Meanwhile, U.S. unemployment might still be hovering near 10%, but don’t worry about the supermodels and VS’s Angels. The world’s 10 top-earning models pulled in a collective $112 million during the past year, a 30% increase from the previous year, according to Forbes’ report.
But most of the increase went to the big three of the modeling world, Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum and Kate Moss, who have molded themselves into moguls in their own right, or morphed into pop icons, or both.
Bundchen, who raked in $45 million or nearly double the previous year, is “in a class by herself,” Edward Razek, Limited Brands’ chief marketing officer who worked with her during her Victoria’s Secret career, told Forbes. “She’s an international icon who can also move products from shampoo to couture,” Razek said.
The Brazilian supermodel was even cited during last month’s third-quarter earnings call from Procter & Gamble, owing to a 40% spike in Latin American sales of its Pantene shampoo once Bundchen starting hawking it, according to Forbes.com.
The lingerie house Victoria’s Secret is proving itself to be something of a modeling farm team, with the South African model Candice Swanepoel debuting on the list at number 10 with $3 million in earnings.
Other Victoria’s Secret veterans who made the list include Adriana Lima ($8 million) and Alessandra Ambrosio ($5 million).
